  1. I would call them direct really nice people to deal with. I have them and don't see any problem with them. Holes all lined up nice I have run mine not a long way but 20 to 30 miles and see no appreciable wear. Also they are extra wide on the tooth. Rick Wark had run them and may have had an issue not sure though. NOS sprockets are hard to find and I don't think Liberty auto is making them anymore so in my view we are lucky Accurite is still making them. I am going to be ordering another set from them soon for my other weasel.

  3. I dismantled this old M29 a few years ago in Alaska. Dan
  4. I have a small group of T15 photos I thought I would post. Really nice!
  5. Here is another picture of the mount and what remains of one of the cushions on my T15. Maybe the tabs held the pads in place?? Dan
  6. All I have left is the wire ring that formed the shape of it. I think it was a cushion for the drivers legs one on each side maybe both the guy in the front seat and the one in the rear. Dan
  7. Hi Larry the two bolts on the wiring guard are for the 30 cal machine gun mount not sure about the small tabs. Dan
  8. Hi Dave what would you charge per bogey to mold on new urethane? Dan
  9. Talk to Alexander on the seat backs. I found these seat belts a while back on ebay. Not exact color as original weasel. They were not cheap although they are NOS.
  10. Hi John Would really like to see some pictures of your weasel. The video you posted does not open at least for me in the xpsf format. Dan
  11. Very Informative Response Alexander . Thanks for the reply. Dan
  12. What are the swedish modified tanks?
  13. One thing I did to put the LAR track on mine by myself was to remove 5 of the center guides this allowed me to hang it on the sprocket first then with 3 come a longs holding up the the track (makes it easier for getting it over the upper guide rollers) I was then able to slide the track on over the front idler. My tracks were extremely tight but once on look good. Oh another thing don't jack up to high just enough to get the track guides under the bogeys. If you are jacked up your track sag will make it harder to put on, Dan

    3 New questions

Still in great shape never worried about the fuel. Never used stabilizer either. This does not mean you shouldn't just that I never did. I recently cleaned the inside of the tank on my most used weasel and the tank was really in great condition inside. F rom what I heard about ethanol in these tanks I was prepared for the worst.

    3 New questions

I have two weasels both with rubber tanks. Both pumps are not working. I have looked at them and they are not in bad shape so one of these days I will look into repairing them. Both weasels have electric fuel pumps that are non original and have worked just fine but when the day comes to restore them. I will definitely repair the in tank pumps. As to your question I have never repaired one. I did buy the fuel pump manual from Pat which looks very good as far as information on repairing these pumps. Sorry Byron were all learning from you. Dan

Byron Original if possible is the way to go. Just my opinion. If you can repair the pump and make it work again that would be awesome. Nice work Dan
  17. Hi Pat the t15 grouser was hardened So I imagine yours will be as well. Drilling with standard drill bits is very slow. I found using a plasma to cut the holes was much faster. I used a cabide dremel bit to clean up the holes. I have posted in a couple threads more detail. Dan
  18. just got the radiator back from being rebuilt. I had a modern straight core put in that will cool much better than the old style with a wavy core. Since the engine is in the rear on the T15 anything one can do to improve cooling seems like the way to go Dan
  19. Thanks for the kind words. Appreciate it. I will post more pictures when I get the starter on. The armature was bad so had to send it out for repair $$$$$. Oh well. T84 transmission being worked on now. For those that don't know some parts of the weasel T84 are different than the jeep T84. I found out the rear bearing is larger diameter for the jeep than the weasel. As far as clean shop I try to sweep and clean every day.
  20. Latest Update T15 engine slowly coming together. I have to get the starter armature back from rewinding and the T84 transmission finished what I am working on now. Some misc lines yet to go. Radiator has been rebuilt which I have to get from the radiator shop. Anyway seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on the engine Dan
