@Bravo28 I went through this same problem with my restoration and I was lucky to find a retired sheet metal tradesmen who made a reproduction tank for me using my long deceased fuel tank as a pattern. Cost me $1000AUD ($650USD) but it gave me peace of mind that there would be no fuel leakage into the hull effectively eliminating a potential fire risk.

This is what I am going to use, Tractor Supply, RDS 18 Gallon tank. I will move the "filler hole" on the Weasel at align with the tank filler and make it look authentic.

👍Great find, are you going to line it as a precaution against pin hole sized leaks?

Was an ebay score. Not easy, not cheap on shipping either. It will need to be thoroughly cleaned inside, and there are a few areas on the bottom that will need to be repaired. Not sure about lining it, but I may end up doing that as well.
