04mustang
Does anyone have photos that show weasels with a pedestal mount for something like a 1919? I'm really curious how that wpuld be mounted in the cargo area with the design of the weasels being what it is. Thank you!

OZM29C
@04mustangThis is the only photo I have showing a Weasel going into action with the British Vickers K machine gun. I could be wrong about the machine gun model/type as I am not an authority on weapons.

OZM29C
@04mustang Gary Szechy from https://www.garysbunker.com/ might be your man for advice on how to mount a machine gun into your weasel. Jim Gilmore
As was stated.......Weasels were not designed to have guns mounted on them. It was a cargo carrier and not a tactical vehicle. There was no gun mount kit ever designed for them in WW II. Post war there was a recoilless rifle mounted on some Weasels. That said....there are always people in the armed services that just have to mount some sort of weapon on everything from trucks to toboggans and even skis ....... The British experimented with flame throwers on them. One of the first "cobbled up" MG mounts on a weasel was on a T-15 in Camp Hale, Colorado. Here is a photo of it. 11c1p oldsalt
I spoke with the owner of BMG parts a while back. He said the the mount used in an m37 is often used on weasels. Understanding that an m37 is a post war vehicle. I know guys like to mount guns to there vehicle. But radios would be more proper for a weasel from what I'm learning. Not saying that some inginouis GIs came up with something and that it wasn't done. Only photo I've seen is this recoiless rifle($$$$). Not sure the date though. And here's one I found with a M2 but I believe it's a more modern photo. Know that it's your weasel and you can do what you want. I have a .50 and a ww2 radio. I've decided to mount to gun on the Feb 42 gpw and the radio in the m29.
