  1. Nice. Do you have in work in progress pictures? Also any pictures of the front right floor/fuel tank/battery area? I am about to weld the right side floor in but need measurements since a lot of that was missing on mine.
  2. Love this project Jeff....wonderful start!
  3. Guido - welcome aboard. I am heading to a friends in the next week or so to pick up a rebuildable T24 fuel tank. I will try and get you some measurements if someone doesn't beat me to it.
  4. I hear you. It is a lot of work to risk. I am half thinking of floating mine in the pond behind my shop, but I have plenty of time to think about it. I have never driven one with float tanks, but it does make the vehicle a lot more cumbersome..... Looks great though!
  5. Thank you Jesse. Agreed - I try to wear them anytime I am doing much of anything - always while grinding. I usually wear a better one when I am not going back and forth between welding and grinding.

    Looks like a great start.👍
  7. Welcome aboard! Hopefully the only abuse you get is drilling out all of those rivets! Keep those posts and pictures coming - everyone with original tracks has these issues so it is great to see the tools and techniques people are using to repair them. Also, I added a "track" tag to your post. If anyone clicks a tag in the header of your post, it will automatically open up a window with all of the posts, pictures and articles relating, in this case, to tracks. This will be extremely helpful as the site grows. PBT
  8. The M29C looks fantastic. How do you guys like it with the floats versus without them?
  9. Nice work Jesse and thanks for sharing. Looks like it is coming along nicely! Patrick
  10. National Archive photo of a Ford GPW (G503) and Weasel - looks like an early M29 - no side skirts but 20 inch tracks.
