F-D Zernia Posted October 15, 2021 Share Posted October 15, 2021 I also found spindles with and without plugs in the end. I solved that with a freeze plug from the automotive supply house. I could not locate an exact fit. One was close enough that a little work with a coarse file and it tapped in tight. Only one bushing on the high/low shift lever....it is a little loose, but the bracket that mounts to the inside hat channel provides a lot of support once installed. F.Janssen Posted December 1, 2021 Author Share Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) Beside work on the Weasel, my Willys MB had some heart surgery... Weasel works were to weld the bracket on the oil pan and make a new piece of wood which is fixed on the engine cover near the gas pedal. And found some nice gem....which needs to wait for the next years before even thinking of mounting.
