  1. I dont know of any drawing. Perhaps others on this forum may know. Any of the floater parts are extremely hard to find.
  2. My policy for a vehicle going to be restored is to completely dismantle everything and rebuild it as new. This eliminates all those nasty surprises. I never try to “get it running” beforehand. Most of the time that just does more damage.
  3. Ive bought sprockets from the guy in California and had no issues with them. That will probably help your problem. Your tracks have probably stretched beyond the range of the tensioner. You’ve got a great project to start with.
  4. I have one set of side shields left. No more rudders or surf shields. All the rest of the parts are gone.
  5. Front and rear springs on M29C are heavier, probably to keep it from rocking so much.
  6. Looks like the particle board you can get from Home Depot.
  7. My daughter made me a matching set of Sexton, halftrack, and weasel back when I had such, on her 3D printer.
  8. I have a regulator support. No carburetor.
  9. Guido. I have an oil pan, and a fan that needs straightening. Still haven’t come across the crank pulley.
  10. Patrick. I boil parts in a barrel of water, dish soap, and sodium hydroxide solution. One gallon costs less than the stripper your using, and will do everything on a weasel that will fit in the barrel. For large parts I build a fire under the barrel. For small parts I use a GI immersion burner to boil the water. Takes about an hour. In the summer, parts left in the solution for a couple of days have the same results. Just hose them off afterwards and they’re spotless. Works on grease and paint. I used to spend thousands on paint stripper.
  11. A guy I know just bought a set of seat backs, canvas, and a top from SOS.
  12. There is a picture of a 6th Marine division weasel on the forum gallery.
  13. Not original, but definitely safer. When I used to drive military vehicles, I would find a way to mount a detachable mirror. Then take it off for display.
  14. Can someone please verify the length of a weasel oil dipstick. Ive got several laying around that are different lengths. Thanks, Jesse.
  15. I tracked down your quote. Looks like you need a differential. Shipping is going to be a lot. It may be worth a drive for you. Take some of my other junk home too.
